WE FINALLY MADE IT TO PERU! A country we have wanted to visit for years, we were so happy we were able to visit on this trip when boarders reopened and BOY was it AN ADVENTURE! Peru took us to so many bucket list places: – The ancient wonder of Machu Picchu – The many colours of Rainbow Mountain – The new rainbow mountain Pallay Punchu – Desert Oasis of Huacachina – Stunning city of Cusco – Tranquil lakes in Huaraz – Epic landscapes of Paracas – Bustling city of Lima – The white city of Arequipa – Into the amazon in Puerto Maldonado – And again deep into the Amazon of Iquitos – As well as enjoying one of the most beautiful train rides in the world from Puno to Cusco We wore ponchos, met Lamas, explored the Amazon, hiked to the highest of altitudes, saw breathtaking landscapes, learnt the local culture, tried ceviche and SO MUCH MORE! 7 weeks in Peru felt like a lifetime, this country HAS IT ALL and everywhere was UNREAL. It blew us away completely and we fell in love with this South American Country.
